That is precisely WHY Bush wanted to "go in".
Invading Iraq constitued a direct violation of our Constitution. Iraq never attacked the United States in any way shape or form. That was was mostly to take posession of the OIL. It was and is illegal.
Granted, Sadam was a total ass but there are a number of those around the world. The difference was that Iraq had OIL.
That would explain why they went in without a an exit stratedgy. The plan is, and was, from the beginning, to stay. Maybe, even for 100 years or more.
Bush, and (they), just, quite deliberately did not tell us that was/is the plan.
Now, all we have to do is figure out what their true ULTIMATE goal is.
They're not saying, and maintain plausable deniability.
All this would explain all that (disconnect) in communication.
We think we are in disagreement when Bush says, "The plan is working."
Really, we are in complete ignorance that there is no disagreement at all. He apparently has a plan that we know nothing about, and apparently, whether we like it or not, he is going to continue with. And apparently, all is working according to their secret plan.
