My two face to face friends seem depressed. Negative thoughts, lack of energy, obsesion of things they have no control over, not wanting to expend any excess energy on anything in their lives.
I can so easily fall that way myself.
I get too tired, too busy at work, too obsessed at clearing out the teaching material, not taking care of my mental or physical health.
Today's a down day - catching up on sleep, catching up on reading (finding out a favorite author's books are dated, he's off the favorite author list), catching up on eating - haven't gone grocery shopping so everything is canned...
Tomorrow is national laughter day, sponsored by this new laughter yoga movement coming from India - and it's outside (allergy allert) and we're expecting thunderstorms - not good timing.
Social connection lead to longer life - so read the headline in the news clip - I do need more social connections...

Then there are people I know who are nice and all but life revolves around religion. I am an atheist..so what's a girl to do??
Procastination is a terrible thing, brings on depression. Like the commerical says just do it! Much harder done then said.
Think like a business person what action has the best return for my money. What can you do right now, no matter how small, with have the best impact on my life. Taking a walk? Taking a nap? Throw something away as you walk out the door to go food shopping, come back take a nap or read, cook, eat. Make your day a circle.
Believe me I have to do this everyday. If not I get bogged down with silly this and that. The day ends and nothing has been done, then I am depressed.
