I had a dream.
You were barefoot,
Dancing with my Mom
In the kitchen.
In a red plaid shirt
And baggy jeans.
You smelled like pine trees
And soap
And air.
She looked up at you,
Like a girl
In love again.
Something she said
Made you laugh.
You threw your head back
And your cheeks creased
Into the widest smile.
And then you kissed
The top of her snowy head.
I woke up
Smiling.
Then heartbroken.
Remembering
What I almost forgot.

Now, Vicky....huh?
I got a similar one of my dad, exactly one month after he passed. I dreamt I saw him at a "family reunion" with two other relatives who had passed. They all looked younger and healthy, as I remember them from when I was a child.
Blessings ~
