Today was a sad day for my daughter...........

Whitney's Dog Spot, Tom Tom (AKA Tommys) brother, was rushed to the Vet at 11:15 am and after the run in with another cat this time, he is blind, he will be losing his right eye, and she is so sad, it isn't that she won't love him, she blames herself, she thought all the cats were out before she let him out in the house, and one cat was left, Spot was out to kill, and Thomas Jefferson (TJ) was out to hurt him with his claws, and he did.........Life goes on, is what I told her, and it is sad, but all of our animals are deeply loved, and it is heart breaking.....but he won't live anywhere else but with us.......She on the other hand is depressed tonight and blaming herself............so here is pictures of her dog, her baby, her best friend..............and if you feel it in your heart say a short prayer for her 21 year heart that really hasn't endured any thing

I am sorry to hear that a cat harmed her dog in this way . I love my dogs and I would be upset if anything like this happened to them. We also have two cats and it seems the dogs like to annoy the cats and chase them, but the cats have never did any thing more than swat them with their paw, so I guess the cats don't mind them after all.

This is sad! Dogs adapt amazingly, however, to whatever hardships they're forced to face.

I know that all of us talk to our pets, and they just look at us with their heads tilted one way, looking at us like," What did they just say". Sorry about your pet.

awww. poor puppy! I'm sure she is heartbroken, for sure. ..I had a puppy that got scratched pretty badly like that by one of my cats before, and she was really bleeding, I thought for sure he had gotten her in the eye too, but she was lucky. Sometimes these things just happen, and it's nobody's fault..animals, even if they are our children, are still animals. I'm sure he'll be fine though, animals are like that. I've had animals that have lost limbs and just went about life as if nothing were wrong. ..and he'll still be loved, which is all he cares about. :O(

It must be something in the air with the cats,Sassy was popped sunday by fatrat.She is on 3 kind of eye drops and I can only hope that she will get better.
Prays for your baby and you.It can happen to anyone.

I would imagine a dog could adapt to blindness. Nature by its very being makes the rules and people are foolish to think they ultimately can control it.
