My wife and I went out this week to a nice Italian restaurant in one of our nicer malls in the city. It was a great night. We have a scheduled date night once a week, and for the past few weeks, it wasn't happening very well because she was working late. I can certainly tell that we don't function as well without it, so I was glad that we both prepared well to be together.
The dinner was lovely. We both walked out of their full and happy, and the service was great. Usually, we go to a mid tier restaurant, so it was nice to have food we enjoyed as well as good service. It's been a rarity for us. I guess you just have to pay a bit more to get it.
After dinner, we went walking around the mall and just kind of window shopped. I've been shopping for a new bag so I looked at Baggallini and others. We also did a little shopping for my nephew and looked at some Thomas the Tank bedding. It reminded me of when I was little and had G.I. Joe sheets.
It was a lovely night out, and I'm looking forward to our date night next week.
