Coupon Swap?

With the rising cost of food, and the semi-alarmist news reports telling consumers to stock up on non-perishables, I've been carefully cutting coupons. My thrifty hubby turned me onto coupons when we first got married and it definitely has saved us money, which is even more important now as I am out on an unpaid maternity leave.

I realize that I have coupons that other people may need/ want more than I do...for example, I am a BzzAgent and I have coupons for free cans of Oust Surface and Air Disinfectant Spray, $1.00 Ziploc containers, etc. Personally, I wish I had gotten in on the Bzz Campaign for Silk Soy Milk, because I drink that and the coupons would come in handy!

So to my question--are there people on Gather who swap coupons via the mail? Any groups that you know of that swap coupons? Anyone interested? Should we start a group? What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea, i don't know if there is anything out there. But i don't clip coupons, i wanna learn how to though, I mean i know you just clip them but people on here get most their stuff for free and i don't know how they do that...would be interested to find out though.

You know, i was just thinking about it. I have also few copons I don't use or need and I was wonder if I can give it to someone, who might use it. Maybe you should make that kind of group. What do you think??

I think I should, dagmara! I mean, if we have coupons that are sitting around, why not swap away? I'd rather save $ on what I actually use. Besides, triple coupon day is so much more fun that way! :) I will let you know when I make the group. :)

I used to be a part of a group that swapped coupons. I wish I could find people to swap with as well. For instance I have a coupon for a flavored coffee creamer that I think is international delight. I drink coffee, but I don't put anything in it. I wish I had the oust coupon though. I am obsessed with air fresheners of any kind. My hubby laughs at me (and is kind of embarrassed) because I can't buy something without smelling it first. I also can't pass buy the air freshener isle without smelling stuff. Anyway, if you ever start swapping coupons, I want in.

I used to know of groups like that, but I lost touch with them. It would be a nice idea.

I just got a coupon in the mail for a free tin of Camel Snus that I have zero use for and am trying to find a swap program to see if I can trade it for something more useful. Are you having swapping success?
