Hillary In The No Spin Zone

I was flipping through channels and came across the interview. Since I have DVR I was able to watch the whole thing. I thought Hillary handled herself quite well. Can't wait for the rest of the interview.

I really think you have to give Mister Bill good marks too. Gracious, even submissive, at times, which allowed him to throw in a few zingers and take her off guard.

What's in it for her? Bill O is running roughshod all over Rev. Wright and linking him to Obama. It's an opportunity for her to get her face in front of all those who agree with Bill who may now be questioning BO's judgement. She's not there because she likes O'Reilly or Fox news. She even ducked the question about whether she has been treated fairly by Fox news.

Missed it, I might not agree with everything she has done or said, but I do admire her tenacity.

I'll take the Queen Bee on this one. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Bill, in his fervor to gain bragging rights, has inadvertently or unwittingly bought right into her tactic. She used him while he was thinking she NEEDS him. They both benefit for different reasons.

This should put a fire under Barry's butt to go in the No Spin Zone, so at least some good may come from it.

It was a very good move for Hillary. If the pundits are to be believed, the working class white male, or Regan Democrat, is the soccer mom of 2008 and O'Reilly is a good place to reach that audience. I am not a fan, or a detractor, of Senator Clinton or Bill O'Reilly. They do have some common ground, such as, they both want to go after the oil companies. On the right wing spectrum, O'Reilly is substantially more reasonable and respectful than most of the other players, such as Limbaugh or Coulter.

There are times with Bill when I just want to get up and hit him, and others when I want to shake his hand for taking a stand. When it comes to the candidates for this election he has been more then fair in my opinion. I would have like to see Hillary finally answer some of these questions with more then the usual evasion of specifics, but then again with many of them that might be a cold day in *blank*. Though it was a good move on her part I feel that is all it was, a political move to enhance her chances. Just like any other well seasoned politician they know what to do when you need more votes.

Though I agree she did a good job, I still have a hard time trusting her. It will take some real profound explaining (or an act of God) whichever comes first to make me feel she is trustworthy. Nice article jJack and great discussion.

As I have always said I would rather follow someone who has a hard time putting two words together in a sentence then the one who can eloquently lead me over the cliff.

She handled herself with self assurance and grace under the circumstances...I have found that any time I wanted an answer to how she feels about something or what her plans are for moving forward on any issue, I go to where she has her comments documented and as she means for them to be understood...I cannot take the pundits interpretation any longer...for instance...on education...which seems to be side swept by oil and Iraq, she has some excellent plans...and they are all in print like everything else she hopes to do for this country...

I personally think mistrust in any of them has been put in place by the media...possibly this is what they think they need to do to get the public to do research...unfortunately that is too much work for most people...sometimes only because they work more than 40 hours a week (2 jobs) and they don't have time....

I would only hope that if there is any mistrust about someones ability or what is said, I hope they will do some research - there is plenty available on the Internet - and make their own decision.

Media does not dictate to me what I will and will not believe, I find my own answers I thought you knew I always make my own opinions. I have researched her ... sorry but I still don't trust her.

jJack actually Bill has done that. He had his and Halraldo's ( I am so sure that is misspelled ... lol) body language analyzed when they had the great fiery debate on Immigration.

No, No, and No!

They either had chemistry, or are both experts at faking it. It was a pretty good interview, and definitely showed Sen. Clinton in a positive light, overall. The second two segments had a slightly different tone, but I can't be more specific.

He really didn't have time to ask about too many subjects, and follow up on her answers. He wasted time with the question about Fox News being fairer to her than some of the "far left" news outlets. This begs me to wonder why he didn't mention Clinton's recent criticism of MoveOn.org, and their bias against her. That would be my first complaint, and by no means my last. As I said, I understand the time constraints he was under, so don't take my complaint too seriously.
