If any of you have read my "Bible" articles in the past and thought, "Wow, that sure was controversial!" Then all I can say is, you should see the articles that I have never written. Before I write a "controversial" article about the Bible, I always try to imagine what the general reaction will be when people read it. That is one reason why there are several subjects I have never bothered to write articles about. Because, if I feel the the response I anticipate will only be a whole lot of comments that just say "Yes" or "No", then I figure, what's the point??
I almost wrote an article one time where I was going to ask something like "Does a person need to believe that every word of the Bible is absolutely true in order to be a Christian?" But, after thinking about it, I realized that people who believed that every word of the Bible was literally God's words and infallible would say "Yes" and people who didn't believe that about the Bible would say "No."
So, in the end, writing such an article wouldn't have accomplished a whole lot.
Then, there was another time when I was going to write an article listing all the things in the Bible that I personally do not believe are true or ever really happened. But, again, I thought about it and decided that there really wasn't any point in doing that either. Everybody would know what I did or didn't believe about the Bible, but who really cares, right??
A while ago, I thought about writing an article in which I pointed out mistakes, discrepancies and contradictions in the Bible. But I decided that there wouldn't be much point in writing an article like that either. Because the people who believed in the Bible wouldn't want to read it and the people who do not believe in the Bible would only see it as a confirmation of their decision to not believe in the Bible. So, that counted writing that kind of article out.
Another time, I entertained the idea of writing an article about whether or not the Christian religion could survive without the Bible. But some comments on an earlier article about something else told me that an article about that particular subject wouldn't work either. Because people who believe in the Bible would say "No, it couldn't" and people who don't believe in the Bible would say, "Who gives a crap??"
This should illustrate to you just how hard writing an article about the Bible really is. Because it is very difficult to write something about the Bible that will interest people who don't believe in the Bible and, at the same time, not offend all the rest of the people who do. It is not easy writing something that is "controversial" while making sure that it is not TOO controversial.

Keep thinking, you'll come up with something soon.
In fact, you write articles faster than I can read my email. That's why I'm sometimes a bit behind.

Worth considering. You're certainly the right person to attempt it.
