I have always laughed - long and hard. I cannot remember a time when I did not laugh. As a matter of fact, my mother tells me I came out laughing. She says I was born laughing and I haven't stopped since.
After all, can you imagine a funnier situation? There you are lying in a pool of goodness knows what, in total darkness, for nine long months. Then one day, for no apparent reason, you hear a commotion like you never heard before. There I was with my newly acquired set of ears, minding my own business, when I began to hear this abominable wailing and moaning from outside, and this voice crying out "push, push".
Then it happened. I popped out into the funniest place I could have imagined. With my new set of eyes I was beholding a sight never seen before in my comfy little world.
I don't need to describe what I saw. I know you guys are all quite familiar by now with all the sights that hit me simultaneously for the very first time. But to me everything was brand spanking new. And speaking of spanking that's exactly what this one guy was doing to me. I stopped laughing for a moment and began to cry. Why was I being punished? What had I done wrong?
This guy that had just administered my first spanking, cried out in jubilation, "it's a boy", as though he had never seen a boy before. I thought that was funny and resumed laughing.
Well, the rest is history. You all know what happens after that. I just thought I would share those very first moments with you because I got such a kick out of it, and you probably don't remember any of it.
By the way, my twin says 'hello'. She was not in the least amused.
