American Idol - Paula Abdul Just Lost It...

I know she often seems out of it, but tonight Paula Abdul just proved she is losing it.

The remaining 5 contenstants had sung their first song out of two, Randy gave a quick opinion of how they did, then Paula tried to review both of Jason's songs, not realizing that he had only sung one!

Wonder what she is on this week?

This has to be a hot topic on all the American Idol boards for the week I am sure.

I don't watch the show, but I feel bad for her. She's always been an emotional wreck and this show is just making things worse for her.

Poor Paula. Thanks to her dancing injuries of the past, I think she is medicated to the max. Most of the time she sounds like she's on another planet, but I still like her.

I wonder just how drugged up she is sometimes poor thing. She really does sound like she is somewhere else a lot of the time, but at others she is right there. Such a shame.

What I don't understand is that they only show programs like American Idol one time over here, ditto Survivor, The Amazing Race etc. In the UK they show the whole of our American Idol on a Thursday night, then repeat it twice over the weekend as well. I would have thought that Fox would have wanted viewers who missed it to have a chance to see it again, or do the TV companies over here assume that we all have TIVO?

I saw that too..i'm hoping what she said is true, she was messed up looking at her notes and was reading from another singer..I like her so that's what i'm choosing to beleive.

I assume she is still ok, otherwise thay would have canned her a couple of seasons ago.

Yeah, I thought that was messed up . I was confused, thinking I mssed something.. I do feel bad for her being in pain, but she's out of it sometimes..

And I thought that up till last night that Paula had seemed more normal this season. I guess everyone loses their concentration sometimes...

I think Paula needs an intervention. She slurs and loses her train of thought while trying to remain positive and supportive. If she were in as much pain as some people think she's in, why in the world would she keep popping out of that chair like a wack-a-mole?

She is not a well woman.

Meanwhile, back on the farm: I'm queer for Jason, but know he doesn't stand a chance compared to David C, with whom I'm also quite taken. Syesha was fine, Brooke is lucky to still be competing, (I knew she'd choose "I Am, I Said") David A makes my teeth hurt.
