Product Review: Bzzing about Claritin Redi Tabs

Well it is Bzz Agent time again and this time it is Claritin Redi Tabs

I recently received a box  for to try out and below is my review

Claritin (Loratadine) is an antihistamine that is used for typical allergy symptoms, such as a stuffy or runny nose, itchy watery eyes, scratchy throat (due to allergies), and rashes, itching, and hives. (It can also be used in some cases to limit asthma attacks).

Antihistamines block the release of histamine, a naturally occurring substance in the body that produces all the allergy symptoms we want to get rid of.

There are several antihistamines you can purchase over the counter, Claritin (Loratadine) is a second generation antihistamine, and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the older first generation product. Claritin is more expensive, as it is the newer of the two.

What "over the counter" means that you don't need to go see a doctor or have a prescription to go the pills you need. This is all great! That means one less fee that we all have to pay!

Warning:
Do not take if you are pregnant or nursing. If you have ongoing liver or kidney disease talk to your doctor before you take Claritin.

Ingredients :
Active: Loratadine 10mg
Inactive: Citric, Acid, Gelatin, Mannitol, Mint flavor

Bottom Line:

 Claritin (Loratadine) is very effective for me in treating my allergy symptoms. I like the non-sedating quality and the once daily dosing.  I also liked that they actually dissolved instantly, before I even realized it was happening.
