I thought of Japan, and the riveting novel, "Memoirs Of A Geisha"--the imagery! I thought of how fleeting the cherry blossoms are and how fleeting each moment that I live. When i was a kid we had a cherry tree, but then one night it was struck by lightening :(
My mother used to make the best cherry pies too...
