Horton Hears A Who --- A Movie Review

Yesterday afternoon my husband and I took the kids to the theatre to see Horton Hears a Who! It was such a cute movie and the kids, 7 and 4, loved it!!!  Not only was it cute and funny but it also taught a valuable lesson.

Horton the elephant is very carefree and has a vivid imagination.  The other children in the forest love Horton and hearing his stories. 

Horton is positive that he heard someone calling out from a tiny little speck that floated past him in the breeze.  He catches the speck on a flower and decides to help in any way that he can.  He makes contact with the mayor of the speck and is determined to find them a safe place to stay. 

There is one, Kangaroo, that feels Horton is filling the children's mind with nonsense and that he needs to be stopped.  She takes drastic measures to stop him.

What happens in the end?  Is the speck and the little people of Whoville destroyed or can Horton prove his point and save them?

I have been wanting to see this.. It looked like such a cute movie in the reviews, and it has a great cast.. I love these kinds of movies.. The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatoullie ..love em! Cant wait til this is on DVD lol
