In Character Challenge: Second Person

I am issuing a new challenge for the !! In Character - a character development group for writers !!  group.  Here it is:  Write a short story or scene using second person (you) point of view.  This is a rarely used point of view for fiction, but when done well, it really brings the reader into the moment.  You can visit Wikipedia for more information on what is second person point of view.  If you are going to participate in the challenge, please post to the !! In Character - a character development group for writers !! group and any other appropriate group.  You can post a link here for others to check out.

I have several versions of the same second person point of view story - if you want to read an example.  Here is the latest version: Wedding Day .  I would love feedback since I have considered publishing a longer version - perhaps novel length - of this story.  This is also the story that brought me to Gather for a short fiction contest (I did not win).  I hope YOU will enjoy this challenge.

Wow... that sounds incredibly challenging... For one, usually "you" would be used (usually) to give instruction? Maybe I'm off... something like, First, you walk fifteen steps, straight into the kitchen. You can see the birds in the backyard, flitting back and forth between the trees and the bird feeder, and the day feels so peaceful...

Is that kind of what you're expecting? :-)

It sounds interesting, I'm up for the challenge, even though I'm scared mine will suck. LOL This would be my first challenge, so I'm not sure on all the details . Is there a deadline for this, and where do we post them? Here?
