Daisy continued her experiment to crack the Gather points system mystery. She began with 64 points. She has done nothing since commenting this morning; accepted no group invites, hasn't read or written any Gather mail, hasn't accepted any friend requests or looked at any other articles.
Daisy looked at exactly 25 images in 20 minutes. She left no comments. Thirty minutes later her points stood at 74, ten points higher than before the 25 image views. This morning, in case you missed that one, Daisy started off with 48 points, commented on exactly 25 articles and images, mixed, and received 16 points.
What does this experiment's conclusion mean? I have no idea, except it lends credence to the supposition that commenting does indeed reflect favorably in the amount of points earned. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine :)
We might do more experiments in days to come, if I can think of other things to keep her busy.

Ina - I think Gus and Daisy would get along fine. She can do the parts that require interaction with humans, and she's terrible at math.
My favorite cut and paste comment was the one that was everywhere for awhile, something like: "In the treasure chest of Gather, you are a ruby!!!!!!" or something similar.

or it could be i just hit the proverbial bullseye on the gather dart board at just the right moment. who knows.
Till yesterday I was donating all my points to South Africa Aids society...so I was not so worried about points but still from March to April it went around 5000...I don't know how to get the excat calculations to find out the correct numbers. From today I will be more alert coz now my all border cards are over and my son needs each monht for his latest DVds.
