Politically Incorrect has been redefined by Bob E. Sherman in his first book titled Am I the Only One That Signals? The book is a collection of comic essays on a variety of subjects covering everything from Alpha to Zulu. It covers current and historical events mixed in with real life anecdotes. The author's opinions are as unique as his habit for using his turn signals. The book includes workable solutions to many of the world's problems, all of which are politically incorrect, but might work.
It is social commentary at its best. Or as the author's sister suggests: anti-social commentary. He is at times satirical, sarcastic, and provocative. The book for the most part is humorous, although there are several topics covered that are not meant to be funny, but are important to discuss. Sherman the Shark was so impressed that he wrote the Foreword.
Bob E. Sherman was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. Although he didn't know it at the time, his family was poor. He was educated at the Milwaukee Area Technical College, fka the Milwaukee Institute of Technology (MIT) or "Mother I Tried" by those who knew better, and the University of Miami, aka The U.
He enrolled at MIT to be a diesel mechanic then transferred to The U to study marine biology before getting his degree in accounting. He has lived in Florida most of his adult life where he has never missed the four seasons. He spent two years in Brasil where he learned that young children can learn a second language easier than adults can, a fact that the American school system has still not figured out.
What's everyone saying?
"Why is this man allowed to roam free on our streets?" Alberto G. (former attorney)
"If his solutions can get past the ACLU they might work" George W. (former Federal employee)
"I laughed so hard I wet my pants, but it didn't matter, I was prepared" Lisa N. (former astronaut)
"If you don't read this book you'll be considered chum" Sherman the Shark www.slagoon.com
