I made enough points this month to get the cash option....I hope Gather chooses to me to get it. I worked my buns off to get that many points. I am so excited and happy at the same time....Can you tell?
For those who have gotten in the past...how long did you have to wait before Gather sent you information about it? That way I know a time line on what to look for.
I have been on Gather all morning checking all my friends stuff out. I have been commenting to their articles and pictures. I have also left alot of of Drive by ten's along the way to everyone.

While exact timeframes are subject to change, here is a general breakdown of what to expect:
- First, you must acquire more than 3,000 points in a given calendar month to be eligible for enrollment in the cash program. The minimum point requirement was 3,125 points, but has recently been reduced.
- Approximately three (3) weeks following the end of the month in which you qualified you will receive an email from Gather inviting you to enroll in the cash program. Enrollment is elective, and if desired, you can choose to continue to receive Gift Cards instead of cash.
- Before your enrollment in the cash option can be finalized, you must complete the federal W-9 tax form provided to you by Gather. You will be required to sign and fax this form to Gather as a requirement for program enrollment.
- Within approximately three (3) days following the receipt of your completed W-9 form, your current Gather Points will be converted to their cash equivalent.
- You may then redeem your Gather Points for cash in the form of a check or PayPal deposit.
- You are not required to accrue a minimum amount of cash points each month to remain eligible and enrolled in the cash program.
- There is no minimum to the amount of cash points you can redeem, or the amount of times you may redeem your cash points within any specified period.
Note: During the month in which you are attempting to reach 3,000+ points, you may redeem your points at any time without penalty. Eligibility for the cash program is based upon earnings during the calendar month, not the amount of points you have available to you at the end of each eligibility period.I hope that helps you!

You don't have to hold onto your points. You can redeem your points for gift cards at any time. Gather will look at how many points you have earned during the month, and not how many you currently have...so clearing out your account for gift cards while you wait won't matter. :-)
