My husband just brought home two copies of the Sunday newspaper. Today the coupons seem to be the same, but some weeks they are not, which is why we get two different local newspapers. Buying two newspapers also ensures that I have two of almost all coupons. This means that I can use two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free (BOGO sale). Some of the coupons are decreasing in value, but you can still save lots of money by shopping smart, using coupons and combining them with sales. Take a look here to see how I did last week, the $1.50 we spend on the Sunday paper each week was a great investment.
I found the red plum insert and the smartsource coupon insert today. You can click on the highlighted names and find more printable coupons as well.
Theese are some of the coupons I found:
Redplum coupon insert:
1$ off any Ortho Home Defense Maz or Bug-B-Gone Max product
$.75 off any Smart Balance Buttery Blend
$1 off any Loreal Vive shamppo, conditioner or treatment. On Bogo sale at CVS this week at 2 for 3.99.
$.50 off any Band Aid
$1 off any Purell (2 oz or larger)
$1 off any Johnson Baby or Johnson's Buddies product. (Tip: At my local Publix the have Johnson's Buddies Easy Grip Sudzing bar for 99 cents each (not sale price), and I usually grap a few and save a few cents on my other purchases this way. Get more Johnson coupons here.
$.50 off any Listerine (500 ml or larger)
$1.50 off any two packages of Perdue breaded chicken
For Pets:
1$ off any Pedgree snacks & Treats for dogs
Smartsource coupon insert:
$.50 off any two Juicy Juice products (This is an example of the coupon value decreasing, it used to be $1 off two)
$2 off one multipack of Boost Smoothie
$.50 off any size or flavor Nestle Nesquick powder
$.50 off any size or flavor Nestle Nesquick syrup
$1 off any Ziploc brand container
Pets: More than 20 dollars worth of coupons on Purina products There are lots of Bogo coupons
$.35 off any Viva Towels Big Roll
$1 off any Colgate Totale Advanced whitening, clean or fresh toothpaste
$.75 off any colgate regular or children's toothpaste
$1 off one Colgate 360 toothbrush (CVS should have this on Free after CVS bucks in May)
$.50 off any Colgate kids toothbrush
$.50 off any Colgate kids toothpaste
$.75 off any Speadstick or Lady speedstick deodorant (CVS often has this on sale for a great price or free after CVS bucks) These are on sale at Walgreens for 99cents this week.
(CVS has these on BOGO sale this week at 2.99 for two)
$1 off any Soft Soap body wash (look for great CVS deals)
$.35 off Soft soap hand wash (7.5 oz or 12 oz)
$.25 off palmolive dish liquid (On BOGO sale at CVS this week at 1.59 for two)
These are just some of the coupons I found in my local newspapers this week. I have been going through the products we use often to call the 1 800 numbers on the back. I usually ask for coupons and to be put on their mailing lists. Sometimes I have a question, a comment, a complaint or a praise and 90 percent off the time I have received great coupons even coupons for free products.
If your store accepts online coupons you can find coupons here: All of my local CVS stores and Walgreens seem to accept online coupons. I have found one Publix and one Winn-Dixie that accepts them as well, but the best thing is to go to the store manager, or call the store company to get the specific rules. Sometimes the grocery store staff don't know for sure whether or not they accept them, and sometimes they will just say no to be on the safe side.

Tabitha, it really seems like some of the coupons are deteriorating, but it is still possible to make them work. We used to get the paper delivered, but some one always made it out there before us and our coupons were gone.
I have also found that some of the Spanish free papers in town have coupons. If we go to the beach on Sundays, they usually have a paper stand right were we park. I love it. My husband is working today though, so there will be no beach trip.
When we lived in NJ, I loved the double coupon programs. Sometimes they had triple coupon weeks as well and I got so many items for free.
Did you every look at this site Tabitha? They always know where the deals are. Unfortunately CVS seems to have gotten to everyone about taking down CVS coupons.
Rachel, I am a SAHM, but I do actually do some coupon swapping with a few people in my area. I also belong to a local online group where I get coupons for giving my opinion on court cases.
I gave it a 10!
I have been trying to get my MIL to give me her coupons out of the paper because she doesn't use them. But always says she is going to start. Than throws them away..I am like whatever.
If anyone would like the name of the site. ( you do pay to be a member ) I don't get anything for you signing up. Send me an email.
AFullCup.com’s tagline is “a cup full of savings” and has proven to be a one-stop shop for all your savings needs. Here are some highlights that this website has to offer:
1. Articles on how to get more bang for your buck. This includes shopping for items while they are on sale and while using a coupon (If possible, combine with a dollar off your total coupon at stores like CVS Pharmacy and Target.), using rain checks to your advantage, how to have a successful garage sale, and many others.
2. Access the Coupon Generators and lists. In addition to a huge list of printable coupons, AFullCup.com has coupon generators for both Target and Food Lion. You can pick which coupons you like and the quantity you need then the generator will print the coupons out using the minimum amount of paper!
3. Forums for trading coupons (and actual items, too). Got a pet? Trade with someone who does not? Got a baby? Trade for baby coupons with someone who doesn’t! It is a win-win.
4. Forums for (nearly) every store imaginable. Just to name a few: JCPenney, Sears, Amazon.com, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Food Lion, Walgreens, CVS, Albertsons, Safeway, Big Lots, Kohl’s…
5. Auctions, auctions, auctions. AFullCup.com members love to avoid listing fees that other sites charge and since the community is large enough with over 37,000 members, the auctions are quite successful!
6. Community support. Most coupon trading sites do not offer the community support I found on AFullCup.com. Members here share not only their tips on being frugal and saving money, but also struggles, victories, birthdays, recipes, weight loss support, you name it! “We are a circle of friends,” said user angel wings. Another user, ashambmom89 said, “I love my family here at AFC.”
7. Extras. AFullCup.com offers all sorts of extras to its members. There is a list of Steals and Deals for some of the most popular stores frequented by its members. There is a place for an online chat with other members. If you’re interested in mystery shopping, a huge database of companies to work for is kept on the site. A schedule of coupon inserts you can expect to find in your Sunday paper can be found here. So many more extras are available at AFullCup.com, but I guess you’ll just have to check it out for yourself.
