I was on the hunt for a new author that would keep my interest, and not add a lot of fluff to the book or the story just to make the book thicker. Well it just so happened that the new girl at my office, that was just hired, let me borrow a book by Patricia Cornwell called "The Blow Fly".

Well, let me tell you that this book was fantastic. The book is a CSI, detective type book, which are some of my favorite stories. The book is very centered on the character, and this in my opinion is the only way to keep me reading. The plot is very original; the author gives the right amount of detail to allow me to continue to use my imagination. While I was reading the book I could really feel and see myself at the location where the characters were at the time.
This author gives such realistic detail to some of the subject matter discussed in the story due to her extensive background investigation she does when she writes. I love perfectionist writers, I feel bad for the torture they put themselves through in order to make a great book, but I really do appreciate it for my entertainment sake, sorry.
I would really think twice before I would allow a young person to read this book.
