or even less, if you want to get technical... let's not.
We got a fair bit done today. Not bad enough making daily trips to Home Depot... today I had to go twice. The first lockset we got didn't work; had to go back for another.
In between trips and other assorted chores, I emailed with the officiate for the ceremony - confirmed names, the script, all that fun stuff.
While I did that, Tamara and Ross stayed here and worked. Tamara is learning all sorts of skills this week.
She's been up ladders.

Put up more lights (solar, this time)

And for an encore, tonight she built a ramp up to the new main door (with Ross' stuporvision)

On one of our trips to HD today, we bought a new BBQ - Rob put that together for us. Oh! Still need to get propane! Another to do for tomorrow.
Still lots of things to do - finish cleaning up the yard (Rob is coming to help with that), pick up the flowers, and the pictures I ordered from Wal-Mart, and I guess, the propane.
Ross also is going on about putting up more shelves - don't know that we'll have time for that - but if they don't go up, they need to go OUT.... not staying where they are. And Tamara has another set of solar lights to put up on the deck.
And the kitchen WAS all clean yesterday and now its not. Again.
I'm exhausted just thinking about everything that still needs to be done... and spending all day with people around.
It is going to be rather a relief to have it all over with, I think!

Tamara is a step ahead to learn to put up lights and build whatever Ross teaches her. So many of the young ones don't learn how to repair or build now. It's a shame. They really need to learn, but I guess life is too busy and a lot of parents now who can't do it either. Not good.
Here's hoping for the best.
it's at 3
it's probably not a good idea for Tamara to be installing light fixtures while leaning over........from a METAL ladder!
You guys are really getting things done! Wow!
Congratulations on your big day! Hope everything is perfect for you.
Hope all is well and you are celebrating as we speak.
oh btw i'm home now
glad you're home safe, kid...will send you the pictures tomorrow
