I have solid oak hardwood floors all over my home. Furniture can scratch it up rather quickly. I use felt on the bottom of the dining room chairs. I purchase the felt and holder that is designed to be put on chair legs. The problem is that it wears out really fast and then the floor is scratched before you even know you need to put new pads on.
If you take a tennis ball and cut an X on it, you can put them over the bottom of chairs to eliminate this problem. No more scratches on the floor.
In Elderly care centers, this is a great way to keep the walkers from being so noisy and gliding easier.
You can also hang a tennis ball on a string from the ceiling of the garage to help you park without running into things. When it touches the windshield or rear window (depending on which way the car is pointing), you know it's time to stop. No more running into things. :)
Throw a few tennis balls into the dryer when you are drying comforters, fluffy coats, pillows, or anything else that could use a good fluffing. This will cut down on your drying time as well. Thus saving you money.

Of course you can always use them as dog toys. Abbey loves them, lol.
we had one on the jeeps antenna to keep it from rubbing off the paint and our friends dog got that one when we weren't looking >LOL
Thanks for the great tips.
in the dryer with quilts as one of my friends runs this
Laundry business and I used to go there to launder
my clothing. he always gave me the tennis balls to use
to cut down on drying time.
We couldn't use them for furniture, the dogs would shred them in seconds.
