Last night was my son's end of the year music performance. His class put on the "Tale of Peter Rabbit". He was one of the three sparrows. We are a homeschool family, but our kids take classes outside the home. This music class is taught by a real music teacher who teaches homeschool children. The performance included recorder/precorder songs put on by each class, singing and the 4th year students also played the dulcimer. All of the mothers for my son's class got a rose which I thought was very sweet and it was a surprise. My son is the little birdie in front. The photo is not that good, but it was the only shot where you can't see the other boy's faces. The second photo is my rose.

This reminds me of my sister's play when she was one of the three little kittens. In my fifth-grade play, I was Mary's little lamp. My family always got stuck being animals.
