Wow--have you been to Boomertowne today?

It looks soooo different.  And finally we don't have to type in the annoying security code every time we log in!  I also love how the points show in the upper right hand corner--I can actually SEE my points increase as I do page views.  Cool! 

What do you think?  What new features have you found?

I like look better but I am having trouble finding things. I have to sit and try to find it all now. I do like that the old style had the drop down menu that this one does not.

It's definitely different. I don't really like the layout. I do miss the drop down menus.

The only new thing I have found so far it the "Submit a fave tip to Daily Tips" and "Rate a Tip"

Not having the drop down menu is really slowing me down. Now I have to go back and click on each section instead of just clicking on the drop down.

I was on it last night, when BT went down for the upgrade. When it came back it I was suprised. Today I have been at BT & found all I was looking for.

I guess everyone is upgrading.

Yeah, it's taking me a little longer to find stuff. No biggy.

And I love that the point tally always shows, so you won't ever go over the 1500.
The layout change was announced on Wed. I didn't get a chance to see it till this morning. Navigating will take a bit to get used to, but so far, I like the new look.

I haven't been there yet today but it sounds like good changes. Yesterday it kept locking up on me so I finally gave up.
It took a little time finding some things, but this constant point feed is wonderful.

Oh no, I'm not too fond of changes. It will probably take a little getting used to. Did they make changes to the points and redemptions?

I saw that last night when I logged in. I think the look is more professional. Funny when Gather did their update, it got more cluttered looking.

I like not having to do that stupid security code every time I went away from the site. That got to be annoying after the 5th time in one day. Also like that running point summary in the corner - very helpful.

I think the videos are gone. Didn't see them anywhere.

I love the way Boomertowne is set up now. Makes it a little easier to navigate once you find everything. I was trying to log into it last night and couldn't get in, then when I finally did get in at 1:30 a.m. I was surprised. Hopefully they get some new items in the catalog soon:)

The upgrade over there broke the links to vote for my cat in the photo contest. I wasn't able to vote for her last night.

My husband called it Boomertowne's Hawthorne.

That said, I like the new look a lot better than the old one. Once I figure out how to vote for my cat I'll be happy.

I don't think its bad. But I do miss the "town" layout. It seemed to go well with the name and the whole idea of the website. The point tally is nice and the lack of security code is REAL nice.

I really like the new layout. If you can't find something - go to BT points - how to earn points - and just look for the selection you need such as videos. (where it tells you how many points you get for viewing videos.) click on the word "videos" and it will take you there.
Also, Andrea you can get to your cat photo - look on the upper left and it will say "your picture", click on that and it will take you to the photo you have in the contest.
