The track meet

We went to a track meet the other day for my stepson who is 13 years old. Maddie and Aidan had a blast running all over the grass and watching the kids running and jumping the hurdles. It was also a chance for my husband to see his 13 year old son throw the discus. My husband has two sons from a previous marriage and we are just now getting visitations with them again. (that is a very complicated story that I won't go into at this time.)

First is a photo of my husband, Lenny, and his son. Lenny was holding the discus just to be cool or something.

Next is a shot I got of my little man Aidan Blake. He wasn't paying attention to the track meet at all. He had better things to do, like climbing on old metal poles and picking things up off the grass.

Here is a shot of Madison sitting on the orange pole watching in amazement as the runners started a race. She had never been to a track meet before. Notice she's all decked out in her St. Louis Cardinals gear.

Here is a shot of big brother throwing the discus. He did a great job at the track meet.

Here is a shot of Daddy with big brother, and baby brother. It was nice to able to get that photo, because we do not get to see the older one very much.
