It's Friday :) Any Big Plans For The Weekend?

I am taking my soon to be 8 year old for a fun day of mommy and me girl time. Hair, nails lunch and a bit of shopping Just her and i for once. I think I will have more fun then she will. I kno I am eagerly awaiting it.

the usual for me, my husband and I will hangout, we don't see each other during the week so we spend all day saturday and sunday together

It's tough when you don't have much time to spend together during the week isn't it.
Hope you manage to have some quality time this weekend Susan.

I won't see my girlfriend now until Memorial Day weekend, as she lives in England, so it doesn't really matter if I have to work this weekend, as long as I can acrue some Brownie Points for when she is here, and my Boss allows me to take an extra hour ot two off...

My husband and I are babysitting our grandkids at their house tomorrow. Then Sunday we go to church and out to eat.

Isn't it great when you can get out and work in the yard. In Florida we can do it all year round. Problem is in the summer when the humidity kicks in and it just gets TOO HOT! Then it's work for 15 mins, inside for 10 and a glass of icy water, back out... repeat as necessary... And wear a bandana to stop the sweat from pouring down...

No plans so far. If it rains, as the Weather Channel says, then we'll be just doing the usual errands and then staying home. My son and I have to work on 2 projects due on Monday. If the weather is nice, then we'll be going to the flea market on Sunday. I hope so. Haven't been in months. So look forward to adding to my rhinestone pin collection and my 60's flower pin collection.

Sorry to hear that Risa. I saw CNN for 2 mins at lunchtime and there was a huge band going across north of Chicago - yuck! It's nice here in South Florida, upper 70's, bit cloudy and breezy, but very pleasant. THink there is a front coming in after the weekend though...

I worked all morning today, left the office about 1:30pm. Came home, changed, walked around the lake next to the condo (2 1/4 miles), went in the pool and did 14 lengths, sat in the sun for 20 mins, now I'm back surfing the net and STARVING.

I'm working all weekend.. pffft.. but thats cuz I've been slacking this whole pay period LOL it's payback time.. and its so gorgeous outside too, so it's killing me, but I might go out and hang in the yard for a little while later, just to get some sun and relax a bit.. then it's back to work! :O)

Sunday morning, and I'm off to see my 2 daughters, 7 and 3. Taking them out for breakfast (Bagels - they love eating at Einsteins), and then to the park... I'd take them to the beach if their Mom would let me - but "oh no, the weather said there are jellyfish, rip currents, etc"... It's a shame, they live so close to the beach but hardly ever get to go. Since I grew up by the beach I love it, and I know they would too.

Thanks Necee. Well they both had a late night Saturday, so unfortunately both were a bit cranky. They had fun in the park, but didn't play together too well. Too much screaming, crying etc... It's sad when they are like that. THey are so good when they play well with each other.

Hey me too :)
Changed the bed, washed the sheets, towels, 1 dark wash....
The drier in the condo is a tad noisy, so I surfed the net while the washer was on, then stuck everything in the drier and went to the pool for a while.
Nice when I can do that...
