Anyone bank with Chase?

I got an offer as a new resident to open a Chase checking account with direct deposit and get $125 as a "bonus" for switching.  I have to stay with LaSalle at least three more months, but I thought about also opening up a Chase account.  I miss the National City rewards program (but NOTHING ELSE about National City) and I've HEARD Chase also has a points program attached to their checking account.  If you bank with Chase, are you happy?

No, I don't think their is a Chase bank around here.
I may have to look into that myself. We have a Chase down the road. :) I don't know if there is a Chase bank in Charlotte, though.

I have Chase credit cards, their online banking is pretty good - has all the features I need, but I can't say anything for their checking accounts etc.
If it's free money, you can't really turn it down can you :)
Just make sure it's not going to cost you to keep the accounts open...

I've banked with Chase for at least 30 years and I've never had any problems with them.

We have our credit card through them and it's been great so far - the one time we had a problem they fixed it right away, plus the rewards program we have is pretty good. I don't know if we have that promotion going on here though - do you have to have a minimum deposit?

I have done all my banking at Chase for many years. I like the cash back program on their credit card. I charge stuff I used to pay cash for and pay off the balance when the bill comes, the periodically get a check for $50 back. My 7 month CD there is getting 5% interest.

Yes and my son just opened a student checking and saving account today. Both are free and they come with rewards on the ATM card. The account manager was extremely helpful to my son and even set up the initial alerts to go to his cell phone while we were there.

BTW, they gave me $10 for each account he opened and gave him $10 for opening a checking account too. She told him to take me out to lunch. LOL!

The only time I used Chase was for auto financing. They were ok for that. At the time they had the best rates around. I'm with PNC and they are good.

Anyone thinking about switching make sure you read what I just posted about Chase.....
they are playing dirty pool switching the rules in the middle of the game.

We bank at Chase. We used to bank at National City and LOVED the points program, I also got the $125 Bonus for opening a Chase account.
I was excited when I heard they had points too - BUT - make sure you read the fine print. For the 4 points per $1 spent you have to pay a $25 annual fee PER debit card! So, we had to pay $50 to enroll in the points program :( I was NOT happy about that at all.
We already have $350 in gift cards from our points - so it's worth it - BUT, I think the $25 fee is rediculous.... just another way for them to make more money!
