That's ALL I have made this month! I'm not doing well at all compared to previous months! In January I made $80, February $70 and last month $68!

2774 - How does the whole 3000 points cash option work exactly ?

You have to get about 3,125 points within a month and hopefully gather will offer you to start getting cash instead of points.

I have 1,908 gather points right now. I cashed in for two $25 GCs on 4/13 and am just waiting on those to arrive. I'm not trying for the cash option, nor do I keep an exact count of my points at the beginning of the month, however, I am pretty sure I have earned around 3400 points already for April.

I've got 973 points. I've been at this since February. Shooting for a big Borders card without spending every waking hour on Gather. So far, I've done pretty well. And I like the stuff I've posted...so far it has all been stuff of substance, much of it reprinted from AC, but some of it original, often too short for AC to be interested in.

I'm at around 2,200 points. I had 300 points from March, so I'm going to be CLOSE to getting the cash option.

I'm at 2500 for the month, so yep, right on track.

And you 'could' still go for the cash if you really wanted to...you've got time. But good luck with Boomertowne instead.

Yes, I am on track. I only need 400 point to reach the cash option. Yes, the slow down and not getting the veiwes has hurt getting my points up there. But I took it upon myself to look at more videos and pictures than I normally do. I took the time to look and rate and just skipped leavinga comment. It seems to many people are gripping about what to leave as a comment anyways. It did help when I use to comment on anyone who comment on my stuff, they would comment back on something else. But with them not being able to find there way around gather.....that hurt. Espically my photos I have posted. I am lucky if I have 6 or 7 comments.......not many page views either...But oh well life goes on. So, I am busting my buns to try and get as many points as I can on my own. While helping my friends, new friends and anyone else along the way.
I tend to recive all my friends articles through email. That is how I stay connected to them. I just pray none disconnects because I like to leave pings to other friends...that is something else people are tired of seeinga nd disconnecting friends when tehy see alot of it.

I am also a member of Boomertown...I am rusty2rusty.....See if we are connected. If not please connect with me. I love returning comments to friends over there as well. You get points for that. I do fairly good getting points on BT when I am there. So, let me knwo if you need help in getting all your points per day.

My stepmother is coming to visit from out of state. She will be here later today. So, for the next couple of days I will not be on teh computer very much...hopefully that won't hurt me any.

I am at 1902 points ....I am not giving up just yet.. even though I endured quite a few set backs , I am finding a way to get into my emails, and gather any way I can...
I am going to try hard to comment on all of my friends as long as my arthritic fingers will last .. Don t give up yet ! I am still totally confused but trying hard to figure it out
Can any one tell me how much my points are worth cash wise? Or what kind of gift cards can I get with these points ? I am assuming none of our points carry over to the next month!!!

If you delete an article do you keep those points you received or do you lose them ?

I have close to 1000 but nowhere near my 3000 goal. Oh well, I did meet a lot of new and interesting people this month :)

I've hit 400, but I'm not going for 3000 this month. I think I'll be trying next month!

You never ever loose points when articles are deleted. That came straight from Gather support when I asked them a question.

I was trying for the cash option this month too until the upgrade. It's obviously not happening now.

I cashed out this past weekend. Got a HD GC for hubby for Father's Day. Better early than late, I guess. :) So, now I'm sitting at just over 100 points. This upgrade is just something new to get used to and work around.

I'll be luck to get 3,000 in two months...

they haven't really changed for days now...

I'm a bit slower than normal, but doing well for my goal (Buy journal, have money for an anniversary gift for Clint and have money for our MAY vacation)

Doing pretty well here -- on the plus side, I've seen some of your stuff turning up in the Comment Stimulus articles list, so that's likely to be an extra kick in the points.
