review of 5 hr energy drink

The 5-hour energy shots come in 3 flavors: berry, orange and lemon -lime. They are not the best-tasting things in the world, but they do what they say they do. If you drink it fast then it's done and over with like a Band-Aid. These shots do not have the aftermath crash that makes you sleep forever. They actually do give you energy and are not harmful. Price-wise, I have seen 2 packs for 4.99 and singles for 3.99. Yes, I know: Which are you going to choose? I think Ill buy the 2 pack and save 2.99 on the second one.

The reason it has such a harsh taste is because it has no real water or calories, it is basically a bunch of energy ingredients mixed in one small compact bottle. It goes down a bit easier if you chill it first. The colder the better it goes down. This drink has very little carbs, calories and no sugar. The best part is the no crash effect. You will not crash like most energy drink do you. I hated that the most with all the other drink the crash your out for hours on end. I knew there was a difference seconds after taking this the first time. There is not the rush or rapid heart beat you feel revived like u did when you had energy.

I love it I wish they made some tastier flavors though, maybe like a strawberry or blueberry no a grape would be terrific. No other energy drink can out do this one that I know of although I think it should be named 8 hr energy drink because it lasts a lot longer than 5 hours to me.

The biggest complaint is there is a lot of b12 in this shot. I have heard that you can not take to much b12 because it is water soluble, so what you do not use comes out. The only down side to this shot drink is in very fine print at the bottom it has sucrose in it which is a sweetener that is not the best sweetener in the world for anyone. Sucrose is the bad sugar in the line of all the sugars. So this in my eyes is the best energy out on the market to give you energy and is not that expensive. Only down side is hold your nose when you take it.
