Tigger update 4-22-08 ups and downs

Tigger is still eating on his own but he didn't eat near enough today and that worries me.  If he doesn't get enough calories in then he will be back where we were with the fatty liver causing him to not want to eat.
I have given him all the different things I had to give him today and he either didn't eat it at all or only ate a part of it.  It sure would be easier if he'd just start eating the dry food and drinking water again!!

Tomorrow we have an appointment for his blood test and I am buying all kinds of canned cat food to tempt him!

Please pray he is just downright hungry and wants to eat tomorrow!!



Here Tigger found the softest spot in the room for a nap!

I really think you're over the hump. It's still a serious situation but he has shown improvement and he couldn't be in more caring hands than yours.

Keep giving her the antibiotics. I do believe they are working. Also, she may need a special diet and mixing all kinds of food may not be helpful in the long run.

When one of my cats is ill and won't eat anything at all, I give it strained baby food meat. Rarely can a cat resist that. But if it does, the baby meat is easy to thin down with a little water and to force feed. A jar of the meat has 70 to 80 calories (in 2 1/2 ounces).
I hope that Tigger gets his appetite back!
