A poet who didn't know it...Salud.
Well, so you gave birth to an eco-zealot. Good for him and for you. Listen up, old folks. It may not just be your grandkids living here, most of the world believes we'll all be coming back....
Michael Pollan, however, turned me off in his first 4 5 6 7 paragraphs. Drop in the bucket and evil-twin-in-China? He's writing for somebody else than me. Lightbulbs matter.
I can get into Kathryn's wry poem much better. I go for the "whole earth is our hospital" stuff, as you know.
And I'm most happy to close this little tour with your winged and prayer-like ode to earth-mama. Thanks, Jan. You Californians lead the way!
