I think this is great, being a girl scout leader does sound like fun! BTW, I love Girl Scout cookies, - finished off a box of the peanut butter one!!! LOL

It seems like a million years since my girls were scouts. They always had a great time and loved the leader who spent so much time putting together a great program.

Takes a special kind of person to do this. Young girls are pirhanas. I last about three meetings as an assistant leader to a troop that already has two leaders. What a mess! Good on you, Juley.

Damn skippy! Guess I am the shizzle after all. I had totally forgotten that Monday was Leader Appreciation Day. And I spent all day yesterday putting together figures for the girls to review tonight for their end-of-year trips. It's going to be a brutal discussion, I'm sure, but they only have so much $$$. I'll take some Motrin before I go tonight.

I led my son's boy scout troops. I loved working with those rambuctious boys! I didn't do girl scouts, no daughters, but I did get to be Girl Scout Camp cook one year! It was so great.

Scout leaders are so important! Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the pep talk!! I have two troops and I'm on the admin team. It takes time away from my family...so busy. But it is so worth it in the end! We (my fellow leaders) and I love our girls!!!
