I recently came on an interesting site for swapping books, CDs and DVDs.
Swaptree was founded in 2004. You join, enter UPC codes of the articles you want to exchange, and their site attempts to find a comparable swap for you. You can print Media Mail postage directly from their website to attach and mail the items from a post box/drop (or your home outgoing mail if you have it) rather than going to the post office.
This seemed like a good site to share on Earth Day.

Swapster.com is media barter service where members trade their CDs, DVDs, Video Games and Books for Swapster Points (value is same as $1 per point). Free market rules apply; you set the amount of points you want for your items and only buy items that have a fair price.
It's free to list items and no commissions to seller. The site is in beta and completely free. Sign up in just a minute, add your photo, connect with Facebook friends, and easily list your items.
Tip: Be sure to list at least 5 items and you'll get 5 points for free to get started trading right away.
