Well I did it! I "Cashed Out" For My First $100 Pre-Paid Visa Card On Boomertowne!!!

.....and I still hae over 5,000 points left!!

At first I was looking at my points balance tinking "wow, lots of them." Then I started thinking "what good are they if they are just points? The damn card is going to take 6-8 weeks to get there anyway, why not?"

...so, I did!!!

By the time my card gets there, I'll be eligable for another $100. You know, I'm getting to like this idea. Why can't Gather points be more like Boomertowne points? I can easily live with earning $100 a month.
I am going back to Canada in two weeks, so a little extra money at home will be nice, provided the US dollar doesn't totally tank, and my card's not worth anything.

I'm going to use the card itsself to pay my phone bill and internet (I guess I need to re-sign up or internet which I haven't had at home because I've been in the USA for te last five months) and then use the money I have left over, since I used the card, to help my savings account grow.

This is GREAT!

I'm expecting:

$100 from Boomertowne
$300 Canadian tax refund
$600 from George Bush to stimulate the economy, since I married an American who gets the other $600
$150 combined from various PTC sites...

Not bad!!!!!!
