He doesn't have the appetite he used to and eats a tiny amount at a time so I am offering it to him more often. I haven't seen him drinking water at all yet so I am still doing the fluids under the skin.
I told them about it at the vet clinic today and they told me they'd never heard of a cat responding to orange sherbet, Tigger will have to be in their record book!
I'm just going to keep offering and coaxing him along.

Tigger washing his paws and face after eating yesterday.
Tigger feeling mellow with a warm tummy after he ate for the first time yesterday in 2 weeks.

This is one of the spots they shaved the fur to be able to get blood samples from Tigger.
Here he is in the window today.

Here he is actually eating!!

Tigger says,"No more pictures today Mom!"
Again I can't say it too many times: Your prayers and words of encouragement have made the difference for me.
Thank you from me and from Tigger and his boy who loves him very much.

I had a cat that had to have a lot of fluids under the skin. I was concerned that he wasn't drinking and my vet said that is not unusual. They don't get so thirsty when they are hydrated with fluids.
Tell Tigger I'd like to buy him a gallon of orange sherbet.
Thank you for posting this to "Our Fur Babies"
Here is a 10 for you! I am sorry for the generic message. I am so terribly behind and want to make sure that everyone gets their views!
