The new color of the week is...





Country singer Trace Adkins had me at "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing". I've seen him in concert twice -- at a Spam Jam in Austin, MN, home of Hormel Foods, and at a county fair at Hampton, Iowa. His recent appearance and near win on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice cinched my long time love-affair with his deep, sexy voice.





So in the words of the song "Chrome", as recorded by Trace Adkins...

That is a challenge. I don't think I have anything chrome. They don't even make too many chrome bumpers anymore. I have a lot of stainless steel though.

Arlene, stainless steel is fine. Anything silver or metalic is fine. Doesn't have to be real chrome, just silvery chrome colored.

Reena, what you've posted so far is just great! Silver, silver metals, chrome, stainless steel... it all works great! It seemed too hard to distinguish one from the other so I left it pretty open on purpose. No gold or bronze though. Have to save those for another week!

Love silver and chrome and stainless - uuhh - I think I just thought of my first one. I wonder if that is hard to photograph with the reflection and all.

I can't wait to see all the photos everyone submits. I have no idea what to take a picture of that is chrome. I usually only take photos of my kids, and they dont wear chrome. But I will see if I can come up with something!!
