I don't know whether to smile or to cry. We just celebrated my little mans 2nd birthday party! He's not my baby boy any longer. Aidan is obsessed with the big purple dinosaur right now! Aren't I lucky?? Big sister helped me to pick out the cake for him.

The cake was delicious. It was a chocolate one with that cool whipped kind of icing! Fabulous!
Then there were lots of presents. Some are from me and Daddy, some are from Nana and Papa, and some my brother and his wife. They even had some presents for my daughter too.

Look, Mom, I got a Barney DVD!! He carried it straight to the TV because he wanted to watch it right after he opened it. We had to redirect him back to the other presents still to open!

Then he also got a singing Barney from Nana and Papa. I honestly think that my Mom purposely got him
that singing dinosaur to pay me back for the little hellion I used to be!

Uncle Mick and Aunt Rebecca gave him the coolest truck ever. Inside of it was another car and a ramp! The car is battery operated and makes all kinds of revving noises! I think Daddy liked it better than Aidan.

Here we are getting ready to sing Happy Birthday and big sister is blowing a Barney party favor.

Then finally we come to the best part of all.........The BIRTHDAY CAKE!

My youngest is in Kindergarten and still won't part with his Barney videos, even though he doesn't watch them anymore! I was hoping to get rid of 'em before the new baby arrives . . . .
This article did not make my gather feeds :-(
Enjoy him now. They grow so fast.
Okay, just had to say that after seeing your comment above. LOL

I feel you 100 percent about your baby boy turning 2.. My son turned 2 on Monday.. we had his party last Sunday.. It is sad.. I am expecting a baby girl in 9 weeks so he wont be the "baby" much longer..
My sons party was backyardigans.. they however do like to watch Barney too :)
Give them lots of love!
