My long night last night....

Last night was filled with all kinds of random events, good, bad, happy, and sad, and so I pick Gather as the place to talk about it. So it all started with a double date with me, this girl I WAS dating (until last night), my friend Bill, and his date. So we go to pick them up, and get lost, because it was in the evening in the country, and I cant drive at night. So we pick them up, and the only place they want to go is the park. When we get to the park, my girlfriend had to be a crazy bitch and bring up my ex,, and that was very harassing. Then I decided I would not drop to her level, and keep my head on, because despite being in high school still, I hold the wisdom and maturity level of a senior citizen. She really irritated me to the point where I said the hell with this, and then she started trying to make advancements with my friend!!! I told her ass its time to go home. So we dropped her off, and that was the end of that. The very end, unfortunately. Then things start to get a little better. We stopped at a gas station and I won 100 dollars on a lottery scratch off!! That turned my frown into a smile. Then I got a call from this girl that I go to school with. She was staying at the nicest hotel in Nashville for the weekend to celebrate her dad's birthday. So she asked if I wanted to come see her, and of course I did. I have liked her the whole time anyway, so hell yes I wanted to see her. So I get to her hotel and she was so stunningly beautiful, she made my eyes wince. So we ended up going to this really nice italian restaurant, laughing having a good time, talking, and this was at 10:30 at night! So we were just sitting their in silence and I caught her eye, and she gave me a look that was so beautiful and moving, that it made me feel like nothing could ever go wrong, never go bad with being with her. No, this is not where you think it is going. I did not take her back to her hotel room and sleep with her. Im not that kind of guy, sorry. But instead we just walked around this beautiful hotel talking, and just happy being together for the night. This girl is one that makes me happy, simply. She has a personality that is what I like to call REMARKABLE!! We talk about things all the time, and she always seems to understand. She is not a follower, she doesn't have a click, she is herself, and she is damn proud of it. I see her as what I hope any guy would see in a girl, mature and caring. So after walking her back to her room and telling her bye, I left very happy. This girl turned my horrible night into something that made me feel so good about myself. I want to see where this goes. She just broke up with her boyfriend, and I want her to heal from that before anything gets serious. She is a sweet girl and deserves to be respected, and I sure as hell am going to do just that. So after I get back home at like 1 AM, I finally got 4 hours of sleep and I have a job interview at 3 PM this afternoon. I have confidence in this. I finally think I have a chance at being with a girl that will like me for who I am. I tell you though, im getting another lottery ticket again today.....
