Last night, I published an article telling everyone to take a look at the moon because (as it was rising, at least) it seemed just HUGE to me and included a photo I'd taken the afternoon before just as the sun was setting but, tonight, I caught some shots of it as it was rising up through the branches of the oak trees and I thought some of you might like to see them.
Here's the first shot that I took of the moon when it was still mostly obscured by the tops of the oak trees:
Later on, I got a shot of it as it rose higher in the sky -- completely unobscured:
But here are the two shots that are my favorites... I took them in the time in-between those first two shots:
And my very favorite:
I like them because of the clouds and the fact that you can see the architecture of the tree branches.
I realize these photos aren't "for everybody"... But I think they're kind of cool... :o)
