My Husband usually doesn't go deep sea fishing this early in the year. He heard they were catching a lot of fish and decided to go down to Ocean City, Md today and try his luck. The boat was about five miles out to sea, and the Captain came on the pa system and said the boat was sinking and they would be heading back to shore. They had two bilge pumps going and they couldn't keep up with the water that was coming into the boat. My Husband said it would have been the perfect day to fish, the water was so calm. They issued rain checks for them to go fishing another day.
That was awful,glad he's ok and the boat didn't tear up. I would love to go sea fishing one day. We had a few fishermen here that sunk their boat,they were rescued but very disappointed in there trip and everything that went wrong.
Just like a fisherman to be more worried about the fish that got away that day! Good story, glad it had a happy ending , or at least a rain check for one!

I would love to go sea fishing one day.
We had a few fishermen here that sunk their boat,they were rescued but very disappointed in there trip and everything that went wrong.
