They are from the same tree? Camilla Bowles, pop diva Madonna and Canadian songster Celine Dion? We know they are poles apart so far as their respective personal identities are concerned. But it is reported that they all are descendants of the same French carpenter Zacharie Clutier settled in New France, Quebec in 1634.
That amazing ancestral histort was reported in family and social history website www.ancestry.co.uk. Can you digest that spectacular revealation? But, yes, we are told that this is a scientific research work, not a figment of imagination. And if scientific community says something, how can we remain aloof from the burden of truth?
The thing is that how of all people in the world, they got these three people together to research into their ancestral lineage and got their fanciful inference? What was their source of informations to connect these three people together? And how did French carpenter of nearly 400 years ago get into the fray? And how did the know the true identity of so-called Zacharie Clutier?
These unholy questions could easily be posed to the researchers concerned. As they belong to the ivory tower of scientific community, as if they are licensed to kill the popular concepts of rational course of reasoning and thinking. Is it that if and when science says anything of dubious contents, the common people should take them lying down without pointing a finger at their authenticities?
And it is that science or for that matter, the scientific community pour out so many so many non-senses at regular interval for the gullible public and the gullible public do not have any right or guts to take them by the neck.. The scientific community broadcast these questionable news just to create some sensational craze for getting some wishful pats on their backs. Yet the get scott-free for their misadventure.
It is even more nauseating when the spokeperson Simon Harper describe their historical facts by overstepping the rights to information : "The fact that Camilla and Madonna are related, however distantly, highlights the truly unpredictable and entertaining nature of family history nature." But is this truly a fact or fiction of demoralised truth? Yes, there are takers and sponsors for their garbled report. But who cares?
