My two year old daughter and I went out and found our first letterbox today! It was a great one for us to start with since it was in a park that we frequent. It took significantly longer than expected though since I missed one of the forks mentioned in the clues and ended up walking the full length of the park without a stroller. My little girl is very tired now.
I am looking forward to getting out on our next adventure but I think that I will stick to the ones that are near paved paths for when it is just she and I so that I can strap her into the stroller while I do the stamping, as I could barely stamp our book and forgot to write in the letterbox where we were from since she kept running off. I made sure no one saw us though and that I put everything back right! I can be more adventurous when we have "daddy" with us so one of us can look after her while the other one stamps.
