The Lord is My Shepherd!

Lying here silent and alone
I cry tears inside
Somethings you can't show
Somethings you can't face
"Flee Flee go now"
My heart cries out
"Avoid the coming pain"
I can't escape it, heart
The pain is in me
I have to listen to God
As it is my portion shared
We share in Christs suffering
My prayers consume my time now
Dwell in me and your heart be mine Lord
Dwell in me and your thoughts be mine Lord
Dwell in me and heal me so I can forgive fully
Let him clearly see me for who I am
Let him clearly listen with all his heart
Let him clearly see the depth of my love
Help him believe you are real
Help him believe you love him the way he is
Help him believe you forgive his sins
Help him believe he has worth to you
Help him believe life can be better
Help him to believe in your power
Heal his heart soul and mind
Heal his hurts and disappointments
Heal his life for now and forever
Deep in my soul
I know have to go on
Despite the pain
I have to trust God
Peace from my prayers
Help keep me together
I know I have to stay
I have to follow God
God will carry me always
Through the deepest pain
My faith is that he knows best
He allows me to be tested
He never promised me
A world without pain
While I am here on earth
I must learn to get through it
"I am always with you
even in the deep pits
of your life's lows
I know the insides
of your heart
My words are written there.
Keep walking in faith
Keep sharing my love with others
Keep uplifting all to overcoming.
I have always loved you
Since I knitted you in the womb
I never left your side.
The time here will quickly be over
The earth was never your real home
You will soon return back to eternity."
I pick myself up off the floor
And again I carry on,
It is his strength in me
I gave my life to the Lord.
I must preservere on
I must share his love
For I am my Fathers child
The Lord is my Shepherd!
His wisdom will suffice
His love is infinite
For He listens and understands.

Your poem gave me great comfort. It can be difficult at times to remember that God is in control.
this has to be about the best poem I have read that you have written...
I don't think it needed to have rhyme, it has a rhythm from the heart....
WOW ! ! !
