autumn rose

i feel the warmth
of your kisses just before
the golden dawn

the vivid dreams
of passionate love immense...
visions of the light

now, the subtle
flame of youth overwhelms...
amorous fingers of desire

you touch
the core of my being...
scarlet lips

insatiable longing
for the fruit of passion unfolds...
the gentle rain of beauty

the creative impulse
blooms as I sample the divine
nectar of your essence

I reread this beautiful expression of love. The only hint of a youth that has passed is s1 l3. I guess youth is eternal in the language of romance.
