How long have you been online earning money?

It's almost time for me to get another gift card from Boomertowne.  I have only been a member since the middle of Feb. and already I have made almost $200 in gift cards. 

I don't even spend them myself.  I use them for Christmas gifts since I have to buy for my side of the family which isn't a big family but big enough.  My family appreciates the gift cards they get from me each year since they know that I take the time to earn them online.  I do other sites that pay by gift cards and what I like is that I get a variety of restaurants, clothing stores, book stores, and Visa cards to give out.  If I can't a gift card then I get cash which I then go out and purchase the gift card. 

In the last 6 years I have taken hardly any money out of my pocket to buy any presents for my side of the family.  I do it because I want to be able to give them things they will enjoy.  It doesn't cost me anything but time. 

I get gift cards from: BT, MyPoints, Quick Rewards, Freeride, Netwinner, Creation Rewads, and survey sites (to many to mention). 

I always go through freebie forums for deals and coupon codes.  I really like to shop at Amazon for my grandkids gifts when they have big sales on toys and games.  I usually don't have to use money out of my pocket since I do surveys that pay with Amazon gift certificates.  For instance, last year I spent from surveys for Amazon gift certificates totaling $180. plus sometimes getting something free for buying a certain item along with free shipping. 

Now that  I do Gather I should have even more money to spend.  I have decided the money I get from Gather will be for birthday presents for my adult children.  I love to give gifts! 

 Do you do more than just Gather to earn money?  What do you do with the money you get or the gift cards?  How long have you been online earning money?

I do Gather, Igougo, 60+ survey sites, My Points, BT (rarely log in though), Webrides, etc.

I've been earning online most of the 5 years that I've been a stay at home mom.

I use the cash on things for us that we might not otherwise have gotten - like art supplies to encourage Gideon's love of painting. Right now I'm saving up for our May vacation.

Wow, talk about focused! I try to do the things you speak of, but I guess I have a hard time sticking to it. I earned a few gift cards years ago from Mypoints, and am saving for a larger one at Epoll. Other than that I mostly sell things that I make. I used to sell on Ebay but am now on Etsy. I have some pics of things I make in my photo section if you want to take a look!

1998. I don't do that much anymore. I used to spend a ton of time on deal sites and doing surveys. I just moved on. I pretty much just Gather and shop throughMy Points where I can. Once and awhile I take a survey if it pays well.

I do Gather, MyPoints, a couple of survey sites, BT, Netwinner - when I have time, and have for several years. The "extra" comes in handy (and amuses my husband when a GC comes in the mail). I work part time & own a business, so I do these sites whenever I'm watching tv, or in the morning before work.

Thanks for the comments. I don't so these sites everyday..I don't have time for them since I work full time. I do Gather and BT every evening after I get home from work or my days off. Mypoints I do the emails for 5 pts for each one and the same with Freeride. If you know how to do it right you can get them done in a few hours.

I'm not part of the BT that everyone seems to talk about. I've not checked into it, yet. I usually wait until I have some saved up & then get gift cards around birthdays/anniversary's/christmas & give them out then. If I know someone really wants something, I use the gift cards & get it, because most people I know, don't generally buy many things for themselves, usually for others, though. I'm a member of many sites, & try to participate regularly, but have just been doing Gather for the past couple weeks. I do the point emails from mypoints, & will go & take their surveys.

I'm going to post a list, one day, of all the sites that I belong to. The one thing I don't like about most sites is that you need x amount of referrals to help you out. I don't want to beg people to join or anything. So, I just send a few referral links out & if people join, great, if not that's ok too. Some come to realize that by joining under someone, they help them out & that they can give out referrals & make more too!

I do, however, participate in everything that Pinecone sends me. They pay me too often not to be there! LOL Most of the other survey sites don't even compare, but globaltestmarket, they pay great, after you get to 1,000 points. 1,000 GTM point equals $50! Not too bad, I don't think, considering you get points for every survey & for referring others! They are my 2nd favorite. I'm a member at many survey sites, but these 2 are my top 2!!!!!!!!!

On May 10th, it will be two years since I joined Gather - so far, I've made $530 cash money. I opted for cash very early on. I cash out at $300. The money goes for a very worthy cause and I appreciate each dollar. Salud.

I haven't gotten anything from BT, the more I try to spend time there the less points I seem to make and then I get frustrated.

I mostly only do Gather, mypoints, and pinecone. I dabble here and there on Netwinner and a few other survey things, but i don;t have a bunch of time to mess around with too many sites .. I'm a member of a LOT of places, but don't participate in most all that much.. i haven't taken the bait yet and joined BT but I will probably be a good little lemming and mosey on over there eventually, because I keep hearing about all these GC everyone is raking in. LOL I've been doing mypoints the longest, about 6 years.. but technically, since my real job is at home and online, I guess you could say I have been working online for 13 years LOL

I've been doing Gather since the end of December. I've been trying Boomertowne, but I don't understand it! I feel lost, and for me the points aren't adding up at all!

I think it's hard to make a lot of money this way if you also have a full time job - well not if you want to have enough time to sleep and also to have a life as well. Need to find something where you can just sit back and let the money roll in. I'm working on it...

I haven't been doing the whole earning online thing for very long and I don't usually get much from any one place, but I do love getting a gift card now and then. I tend to spend most of them on myself (yeah yeah, I'm greedy. haha) but I like the idea of saving them for gifts too for certain people.

I do BT, but have not ever cashed out yet. I could now, but want to get over 20,0000 am at 16,0000. I wish they gave cash, but the visa cards I like them I guess.

Hi, I am doing many survyes sites, like Global test market, Acop, E-poll and so on. Also I am memeber of BT and I should get my GC soon. I am doing earning online for about 1 year know, but just now started to earn soem real money.

I haven't made any money at Gather. I've made maybe $10 since September combined on all my blogs (listed below). No, I don't do this to make money, though I wouldn't object. I don't think I have the time to spend here at Gather, and the freelance writing jobs I might take aren't interesting enough for me, given all of my other responsibilities. Lot's of people are asking me to write for free, or to let them use my photos for free, though, so I guess that's a start- at least they want me, if only a little. Best wishes!

I started PTC, etc in 1999 when the reward programs were HOT! Beenz, the OLD FR, Click to the Magic, Creations Rewards, Quick Reward, My Points, Netwinner, Igetpaiddaily, Memolink, etc. We went to Florida in 2001, stayed 7 days at All Star Movies, and one week at Daytona. Took $300 with me and came back with $150. Everything else I earned doing the above programs.

I feel so out of it, I sell software and info products online and I make money as an affiliate but all these other things you mention are totally out of my knowledge. Now i feel i should start reading..
