I write my poems on scraps of paper because I want to carry them in my address book. I'm likely to read them at a moment's notice.

Great quote. Before I had a computer I used to keep all of my writing on scraps of paper too. It's so much easier to find now. I just have to remember to back up files regularly.

That made me smile. One of my friends back at William & Mary encouraged me to memorize my poems, so I picked his favorite (also one of my shortest) and memorized it. It's the only one I actually did.

I write mine on scraps of paper too! When an inspiration hits, I just write on what is available at the time.

Interesting! Anything I put in my address book tends to get lost... along with the address book. I've lost more of those things in my life than I care to count!
