My defense was a bananaless banana

I had a dream
No, I'm not Mr. King

I dreamed I was lost. I was happily shopping in a mall, but when I came out my car was gone and the neighborhood looked a war zone. People lurked in dark corners and gave me threatening looks. So I went back in the mall and went out a different exit. However, the same scene greeted me. So, I armed myself, but when I stepped outside again, my defense was a banana skin. The banana was gone. So I flailed this yellow banana skin at all perpetrators.

Any ideas of what it meant besides I should not have eaten the banana before going out.

I imagine if you threw it and one of those people slipped on it, they wouldn't be laughing, now would they? I think a peel is a better weapon, looks can be deceiving..

I think the dream means you don't feel prepared when you are out where there are people who want to hurt or harm you...
