I've been doing Yahoo Answers, and noticed that too many kids use it to get their homework done without them doing the work. I posted a question to that effect, and my thoughts on it....I'd gotten rid of two kids who called me names because of it, and added in that if they read the first line of my post, they would notice the question!
I had alot of concerned educators and parents agreeing with me...until just a bit ago when they deleted my question. So I sent them a letter. Short and sweet. I told them if they actually understood anything, then they would have notice the question AND the question mark in the very first line....(rolling eyes)
Sorry, just venting. I don't understand how they can have these "services" set up, yet don't check them.
Oh, and they also have people who have answered alot...but it doesn't mean they are good ones(people or answers)...so they have the "power" to delete questions and such with no real reason.
I would think it would raise issues to at least parents...hey, your kids are pretty much cheating. You want them to think everything is easy, and hard work means nothing?

Jeff--
I hear what you're saying, there's too much truth to that.
Bonnie--
wouldn't it be nice to know that what Isaid to them has some sort of impact?
Cami--
That's the truth too. Not all written word is law.
I just think that parents should actually know what their kids are doing online. I do with mine :)
Thank you all for reading and your comments.
