Suspicious flowers

Yesterday was a beautiful spring day.  I had a photo shoot for a newspaper story and then I went to pick up my son at the school nearby.  I was a few minutes early, so I decided to take a walk with my camera and get some spring photos.  I walked maybe a quarter of a mile, stooped down and took a picture of daffodils, and then went over to a public rest area along side a pond to snap a few more photos.  As I walked back to the school parking lot a Police car pulled beside me and asked what I was doing.  I explained I was taking pictures and he told me someone had called the Police to report a suspicious person was casing the neighborhood and taking photos of various houses.  I was stunned and told him I was taking pictures of daffodils and had not taken any picture of houses or people.  Well, since I was shooting digital, I was able to show him the photos.  He started to look and then I think he felt silly.  Just then he was called away to a car accident, and I went to pick up my son. It was an unsettling experience, and I am sad that someone is so paranoid that they felt the need to call the Police.
