Hell's Kitchen

So I watched HEll's kitchen last night. I am notoriously against reality tv, but I was with friends and they wanted to watch it. ANyway, is it just me or can the people on the show have any less cokking skills. They could not do the most basic of tasks like cut up a chicken or bake a souffle or cook a steak. How on earth will any of them be able to run a restaurant?

I missed it! I think they show the worst moments in the beginning so later it can look like they vastly improved.

I love this show, and I am so glad that idiot was sent home. His insupportable arrogance grated on me like nails on a blackboard. I think Ramsay is mellowing... his rants were not as nasty last night as he'd been in the past! I sure don't see any star chefs in this bunch though.

from the advertisements the chef looks like a real jerk so i don't want to watch the show.

The guy who was voted off is the one who looks like Paul Giamatti, I think his name was Jason but I could be wrong. The chef is sort of a jerk ala Simon Cowell, but lets face it they are not saying anything half of us aren't thinking.

His name was Jason, and despite his complete ineptitude, he spent most of his time dissing the women, saying they were unable to be chefs of any quality simply because they were women. He couldn't memorize a simple menu and recite it back to the chef, shredded the chicken he was supposed to joint, and was a lazy jerk. I was SO glad to see him go!

Now that you mentioned it he did do an awful lot of talking about how the men would be superior at cutting the chicken because they were the hunter and gathers. What a clown.

I would think so. The outbursts would probably be funnier
