This cook wasn't stumped! Cristina S. (http://thusnelda.gather.com/), using the five required ingredients:
prepared Gnocchi
portobello caps
hazelnuts
beets
cottage cheese
came up with this vegetarian friendly dinner. You also get to use water, salt and pepper, oil and up to three other ingredients. Cristina chose candied orange peel, honey and prepared bread dough.
Sauté the portobellos with a little oil, salt and pepper. When done, add the gnocchi, heat through. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts over all and drizzle lightly with oil, grill until it begins to brown. Serve with cooked, diced beets tossed with a little oil, salt and pepper and slivers of candied orange peel.
For dessert, mix drained cottage cheese with diced, candied orange peel and honey. Roll out the bread dough, cut into rectangles. Place a little cottage cheese mixture on one side, fold over and close edges well. Bake until golden. Drizzle with honey and additional toasted hazelnuts when served on the plates.
